“Stay to Play” Tournament
Housing Requirements

Many event partners operate a "Stay to Play” policy requiring all hotel accommodations to be reserved exclusively through the Book Your Block tournament booking website. The Stay to Play provides efficient management of travel logistics for clubs, teams, and athlete families. Hundreds of teams may attend a tournament, and it is vital that the event plan and secure in advance enough rooms to accommodate all attendees. The “Stay to Play" ensures the hotel partners that provide room blocks have their allocations utilized. All room reservations made through one of the four processes described below capture your team information during the booking process. The Book Your Block technology tracks and compiles all reservations into multiple individual team reports. Tournament organizers review these reports checking to ensure each team is following the "Stay to Play" requirement. Tournaments may impose penalties for groups that do not follow the criteria.
