RESERVATION MODIFICATION BREAKDOWN


COMPLETING A MODIFICATION THROUGH THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM

IF YOU ARE SEEKING TO MODIFY YOUR RESERVATION TO EXTEND YOUR STAY Either:

  1. MODIFY FROM YOUR GUEST RECEIPT

Modify through the Book Your Block links in your Guest Confirmation Receipt email that was generated at the time of booking.

Your Guest Confirmation Receipt email was sent from:

CUSTOMERSERVICE@MYTRAVEL.SUPPORT

This Modify Reservation link if clicked automatically redirects to the Guest Modification Link and propagates your booking details into the modification prompts.


2. MODIFY WITHOUT YOUR GUEST RECEIPT

Once at the page enter the:

  • Email address associated with the reservation

  • Book Your Block Booking Reference Number that begins with ARN.…

  • and click “Modify Reservation” (see example below)

3. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO MODIFY THROUGH THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM

We will review your request and make the modification for you or contact you to connect about the request.



4. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO MODIFY AS ABOVE

COMPLETING YOUR ONLINE MODIFICATION

CONFIRMATION OF YOUR RESERVATION MODIFICATION

You will receive immediate confirmation of the modification from the automated system via two emails originating from:

CUSTOMERSERVICE@MYTRAVEL.SUPPORT

EXAMPLE MODIFICATIONS CONFIRMATION EMAILS

The first email confirms the changes made to the reservation. It displays the original booking.

The second email advises that you will be billed the Deposit for the Additional Night(s).

PAYMENT FOR MODIFICATIONS

The Special Event Rate for the additional night(s) splits across two payments:

  1. The deposit to secure the extra night(s) is payable to Book Your Block

  2. The balance due on the additional night(s) is due to the Hotel.

Information on the Special Event Rate, deposit payment and balance due at the hotel is available at:

Deposit charges for additional nights are processed manually by Book Your Block. 

When Book Your Block completes the modification charge you will receive a revised Guest Booking Receipt by Email

TIMELINE FOR MODIFICATIONS

Please note that the Book Your Block contracted room block at the Special Event Rate often expires two weeks or more before the Event commences. If you wish to extend your stay, you will need to complete the modification before that date at the discounted rates.

HOW HOTELS RECEIVE THE MODIFICATION

The hotel receives the updated booking information instantly but it may take them a few days to update the modification in their internal system. You will receive an email from our automated system when the hotel updates the modification.
