STAY-TO-PLAY POLICY HEAD FIRST BASEBALL TOURNAMENTS
Events at Lasorda Legacy Park require all out-of-state participants (non-New York) to comply with the Stay-To-Play policy. Athletes from the following NY Counties and boroughs are exempt from the policy: Suffolk County, Nassau County, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Westchester. All other New York state county participants are required to comply with the Stay to Play policy.
Events at Woodland Sports Park require athlete families located over 90 driving miles from the venue to comply with the Stay-To-Play policy.
Each booking credits to the team's Stay to Play account.
Each team must book a minimum number of room nights for the tournament as per the table below.
Team's seeking an exemption may submit an official Exemption Application that is reviewed by the tournament director.
Team managers are responsible for communicating the policy to athlete families
A Room Night is classed as a one-night booking of one room. Ie, A family, reserving one room for two nights equals two room nights. Therefore, a sixteen (16) Room Nights minimum requirement would require rooms to be booked by eight (8) families for two (2) Room Nights.
